Park City is the largest ski town and year-round resort community in Utah. It is home of the U.S. Ski Team, Sister City to Courcheval, France, and site of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games for the GS, Slalom, Snowboarding, Ski Jumping and Freestyle events. Park City Mountain Resort
Known for its world-renowned skiing and legendary dry powder, Park City Mountain Resort is the heart of the Park City ski experience and the world's choice for 2002. Open since 1963, Park City Mountain Resort will host the snowboarding and giant slalom events during the 2002 Olympics. Park City Mountain is 700 yards from Jackalope, but we still recommend a car.

Alta Ski Area
The Skier’s Mountain; thanks to the dedication and passion of its skiers and employees, Alta celebrated 62 years of skiing last season. Some suggest that Alta is a mountain with a soul. It may well be that the combination of a rich past and a dedication to the pureness of the skiing experience into the future verify the claim. Alta is truly a skier’s mountain with ample terrain to match all abilities. Alta is 45-55 minutes from Jackalope, depending on snow condition and traffic.
